How I Can Help

and what to expect from Sessions

Beginning therapy might feel daunting. My priority is to offer a warm, empathic, confidential and nonjudgmental space.   I will be led by you and you set the pace.

Many people seek therapy when their usual ways of coping no longer feel like enough. Whether you are facing a specific crisis or a persistent, heavy feeling you can’t quite shake, I offer a thoughtful environment to explore what is happening beneath the surface.
I work with curiosity and care, allowing you to set the pace. I aim to help you understand yourself more deeply so you can move forward and live life more fully.

Issues I frequently work with:

  • Emotional Difficulties: Anxiety, depression, low mood, emotional overwhelm, or frequent emotional “ups and downs.”

  • Relationships & Identity: Difficulties in relationships, family conflict, loneliness, questions around sexuality and identity, or challenges with intimacy and connection.

  • Past Experiences: Childhood grief, trauma, loss, neglect, and the lasting impact of early relationships and experiences on present life.

  • Specific Challenges: Phobias, compulsive behaviours, self-harming patterns, difficulties with food and body image, and feelings that may be hard to make sense of alone.

  • Life Transitions: Navigating major life changes such as bereavement, illness, parenthood, separation, career uncertainty, or job loss.

  • Persistent Feelings: Feeling stuck, disconnected, unfulfilled, emotionally exhausted, or burdened by stress, shame, or low self-worth.

  • Work & City Life: The pressures of living and working in London, including burnout, high stress, isolation, and difficulties balancing personal and professional life.

My Approach:

My work is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy. This approach involves exploring how past experiences and unconscious processes may be connected to present difficulties.

Rather than focusing on quick-fix solutions, we work together to develop a deeper understanding of the underlying causes of your symptoms and patterns. I provide a consistent, non-judgemental space where this thoughtful and respectful work can unfold over time.

Sessions:

  • Location: In-person in Bethnal Green, East London, or Online.

  • Duration: Sessions last 50 minutes.

  • Frequency: Usually held weekly at a consistent time.

  • Initial Step: We can arrange an initial conversation to explore your needs and see whether working together feels right.
